Noise has launched the Master Buds Open in India, bringing its “Sound by Bose” tuning to a clip-on, open-ear design. The earbuds carry an introductory price of ₹7,999, with pre-booking open now and wider availability scheduled for October 23, 2026.

The new model is aimed at listeners who want music without sealing off the ear canal. That makes it a different proposition from conventional in-ear earbuds: environmental sound remains audible, which can be useful while walking, commuting, working in an office or exercising outdoors.

Noise Master Buds Open price and availability

The Master Buds Open will be sold in Carbon and Mercury metallic finishes. According to launch details reported by The Times of India, pre-booking is available through Noise’s website. General sales are scheduled to begin October 23 through gonoise.com, Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay Sales.

The ₹7,999 figure is described as an inaugural launch price, so buyers should not assume it will remain permanent. Noise is also advertising a pre-booking offer on the official Master Buds Open product page; the terms should be checked before paying because promotional availability can change.

What “Sound by Bose” means

The headline feature is Sound by Bose technology. Noise says the earbuds have been tuned to provide deeper bass, clearer mids and crisp highs, working with a 10.8 mm custom dynamic driver and a specialized diaphragm.

There is an important distinction: these are Noise earbuds, not a Bose product. Bose is involved in the sound tuning, while Noise supplies the hardware, companion app, warranty and customer support. A TechRadar prototype hands-on from IFA 2026 made the same point and found the early unit comfortable, but it was not a review of the final retail model. We have not tested the shipping earbuds, so Noise’s audio-quality claims remain manufacturer claims.

An open-ear design built for awareness

Instead of pushing a silicone tip into the ear canal, each Master Buds Open uses a C-bridge that clips around the outer ear and directs sound toward it. Noise lists each earbud at 5.5 g and says the shape is intended for extended wear.

The benefit is situational awareness. Traffic, announcements and nearby voices are easier to hear than with sealed earbuds. That can suit runners, commuters and people who need to remain available to colleagues or family while listening.

The trade-off is equally important. An open design provides little passive isolation, so a train, plane or loud gym can overwhelm quieter parts of music or podcasts. It is also not the same thing as active noise cancellation. Noise lists environmental noise cancellation for the microphones, but that feature is intended to improve call clarity rather than remove outside sound from what the wearer hears.

Battery, calls and connectivity

Noise claims up to 28 hours of total playback when the charging case is included. The company also lists fast charging, though real-world endurance will depend on volume, call time and features such as spatial audio.

  • Drivers: 10.8 mm custom dynamic drivers
  • Calls: four microphones with ENC and a DNN-based noise-reduction system
  • Wireless: Bluetooth 5.4
  • Multi-device use: dual connectivity for two paired devices
  • Android setup: Google Fast Pair
  • Durability: IPX4 resistance to sweat and light splashes
  • Battery claim: up to 28 hours with the case

IPX4 is useful for workouts and a little rain, but it does not make the earbuds waterproof. They should not be submerged or worn for swimming.

The Noise Audio app adds unusual extras

The Noise Audio app provides customizable touch controls and equalizer options, including six reported Dynamic EQ presets. Noise also advertises spatial audio, a Chat AI voice assistant and a transcription feature that can turn recorded conversations into notes.

Those AI functions make the Master Buds Open more ambitious than a basic set of clip-on earbuds, but prospective buyers should check the app’s account, language, connectivity and privacy requirements. Transcription accuracy can vary with accents, background noise and multiple speakers, and cloud-based features may require an internet connection.

Who should consider them?

The Master Buds Open make the most sense for buyers who value comfort and awareness more than isolation. They could be a practical option for outdoor exercise, office use and mixed phone-and-laptop work, especially because dual connectivity reduces the need to reconnect manually.

Travelers who want quiet on flights, listeners who prefer a sealed bass-heavy presentation, or anyone who needs active noise cancellation should look at conventional in-ear or over-ear alternatives instead. Open-ear audio is a deliberate compromise: it lets more of the world in, and that is either its greatest advantage or its biggest limitation.

Bottom line

At ₹7,999, the Noise Master Buds Open combine a distinctive metallic clip-on design with Bose-assisted tuning, modern Bluetooth features and a feature-rich companion app. The confirmed specifications are promising, but comfort, sound leakage, microphone quality and battery life still need independent testing with final retail hardware. Buyers in India can pre-book now, with broader sales due October 23.
